Eudora Light 3.x

  1. Open Eudora Light
  2. Depending on your version, you will either need to click on Tools and then Options, or on Special and then Settings.

  3. Your POP account is your username@yourmailserver.com, ie: joe1@mail.yourcompany.com.au

  4. Your Real Name, is your name, ie Joe Bloggs. This is what will appearon all emails you send.
  5. Your return address is your email address, ie. yourname@yourcompany.com.au

  6. Connection method is Winsock
  7. Now click on the Personal Info category

  8. All information here should be filled in already from the previous screen, if not fill out like the last screen.
  9. Dial-up username should be left blank.
  10. Now click on Hosts category

  11. POP account should be already filled out, if not enter it as above.
  12. SMTP: This is your ISPs outgoing server, please check with you internet provider if unsure. Anchor does not provide SMTP.
  13. Now click on the checking mail category

  14. POP account should already be filled in, otherwise, enter as before.
  15. Check for mail every x minutes, set this to the number of minutes you want Eudora to check email. (10 is a good number)
  16. Ensure that Send on check and save password are ticked. Authentication is Passwords.
  17. Congratulations you should now be able to send and receive email. If you have any problems, to call or email Anchor.
