Eudora Light 1.5.x

  1. Open Eudora
  2. In the top bar, click on the Special menu and go down to Settings, you will see the screen below,

  3. POP account: is username@yourmailserver.com , ie: joe1@mail.yourcompany.com.au .

  4. Real Name: This is the name that will appear on all emails you send.
  5. Now click on the Personal Information category.

  6. POP account and Real name will be already filled in.
  7. Return Address: Your email address, ie yourname@yourcompany.com.au

  8. Now click on the Hosts category

  9. POP account will be already filled in.
  10. SMTP is your ISPs outgoing server, please check with you Internet provider if unsure.
  11. Now click on the Checking Mail category

  12. POP account should already be filled in, if it isn't it is the same as on the previous screens.
  13. The next box is how often you want Eudora to check for new email. Setting this to 0 will disable automatic checking
  14. The only boxes that should be ticked are Send on Check \& Save Password, and Authentication style set to Password.

  15. Congratulations you should now be able to send and receive email. If you have any problems, don't hesitate to call or email Anchor.
