Outlook 98
- Outlook 98 for Windows was a free upgrade available from the Internet, it is no longer available for download.
- Open Outlook 98
- Click on tools and then options
- Click on the Mail tab.
- Now click on the Add button and select Mail.
- Display name: This is the name that will appear on all emails you send.
- Click Next.
E-mail address: This is your email address, ie you@yourdomain.com.au
- Click Next.
- Incoming mail: mail.yourdomain.com.au
- Outgoing mail: smtp.yourISP.com.au
- Click Next.
- POP account name: Your username, ie company2.
- Password: Your password.
- Click Next.
- Internet mail account name: This can be anything, for easy troubleshooting, call it Anchor.
- Click Next.
- Chose your connection type, if you are unsure, ask your systems administrator, or your ISP.
- Click Next.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish to save your settings.
- Congratulations, you should now be able to send and receive email. If you have any problems, please do not hesitate to call Anchor.
