Domain name service levels

Anchor has in place systems to ensure new domain registrations, renewals and queries are handled as quickly as possible.

New Domain Registrations

New domain registrations are processed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our target is to process all domain applications within 10 minutes of receipt of an order for a new domain.

Domain Renewals

Domains being renewed with Anchor where Anchor is the listed registrar of record prior to the renewal are processed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our target time to process domain renewals is within 10 minutes.

Domain Transfer/Renewals

Domains being transfered and renewed with Anchor from a different registrar require the registrant to manually authorise the request via their web browser after submitting it and are subject to approval by the losing registrar. This process takes a minimum of three days to complete.

Support requests and enquiries

Anchor provides online interfaces allowing registrants to self manage their domains. Our target is to keep these interfaces online and operational at least 99.8% of the time.

Anchor will endeavour to answer all requests received via forms on our website or directly via email within 24 hours of receipt on business days or on the next business day where such requests are received outside of support hours.

Anchor's support hours will vary from time to time and are published on the contact page of the Anchor website.
