Dedicated support
You get to choose how much or how little support we provide to you. All dedicated servers come standard with Anchor Monitor. Dedicated severs are only deployed if they survive the build process. Our remote hands service helps you with anything that's not covered by your chosen support pack.

Anchor Monitor
Ensures your dedicated server is online. We monitor the server continuously, if it stops responding we are notified and the server is rebooted. All hardware faults are automatically rectified.

Monitoring is performed via ICMP, if the dedicated server fails to respond Anchor is notified via email and paging services.
Monitoring and response is provided 24 x 7.
Hardware replacement
If the hardware in your server fails Anchor will be alerted and the components replaced to restore operation of the server.
Anchor Secure
In addition to monitoring your Australian dedicated server we make sure it remains secure by firewalling it and keeping all of the applications up to date. You can download a description and detailed specification for Anchor secure.Ping monitoring

Service monitoring
The core services (web, mail, database, ssh & ftp) and up to 5 additional ports are monitored individually. In the event of service failure we will log in to the server and attempt to restore the service and perform basic diagnostics.
System health monitoring
Anchor will monitor the load on the server and advise you if there are any problems to be aware of.
Hardware replacement
If the hardware in your server fails Anchor will be alerted and the components replaced to restore operation of the server.
Patching
All security related patches will automatically be applied to your server. The latest vendor updates and patches will be applied upon request.
Patching and application of bugfixes is one of the most important steps (more important than firewalling) in maintaining the security of your server.
IMPORTANT: Patching is only included in this support pack if Red Hat Enterprise Linux is installed. If the Fedora Project is used for the operating system updates can be applied manually during the support life of the product but are charged on a remote hands basis.
Firewall management
A software based firewall is configured and maintained on the server. All change requests are provided free of charge.
Anchor Complete
Anchor Complete support provides a complete hands off approach to server management. We monitor, patch, secure and manage the configuration of your server.

Anchor Custom support (or Remote hands)
For everything that's not covered by your chosen support pack we have Anchor custom support for your Linux or Windows dedicated server in Australia. We can make literally anything that runs on Linux or Windows work (for a fee of course).
