Colocate or host- what’s the difference?
Co-location is a great option if you already have hardware and would like to have it installed in a world class data centre facility and running on high speed redundant Internet connections. It is, however, important to give some consideration as to how both the hardware and software on the machine is going to be managed on an on-going basis. Additionally, it is important to ensure that hardware support contracts are in place, in the event of your hardware failing and implementing monitoring systems to make sure everything is working fine 24×7. In our experience, doing all this successfully requires a small team of people. Often hosting with Anchor using a dedicated or virtual private server can work out to be much more practical.

Co-location prices for rackmount servers start from $104.50/month, and non-rackmount from just $219/month. All services can be deployed on the same day and there are no long term contracts.
